UIC Releases the UIC680 - a new Contactless Module.
At the 2007 CLAB conference in Miami, Nexus Software, the leading supplier of multi-channel middleware and related products and services for the financial services industry, announced a new partnership agreement with Uniform Industrial Corporation (UIC), a leading supplier of payment solutions and transaction devices and components for the banking industry. The partnership will leverage both companies’ core strengths and nearly 50 years combined experience in the banking industry.
Becoming the newest Nexus Platinum OEM partner, UIC will focus on global growth with an emphasis on the Latin American markets as part of a 5 year plan to achieve a presence for their cost-effective devices in the financial markets. “The Latin America retail banking industry needs to be able to leverage the existing infrastructure while protecting their IT investments,” said Gabriel Cabrera, Latin America Sales Manager for Nexus. “Our partnership with UIC speaks directly to those needs and delivers cost-effective technology to the region.”
